Indeed, Integrative Learning Plans (ILP) and personal academic advising are the hallmarks of the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) degree program. The Center for California Studies, the Center for Collaborative Policy, Education Insights Center (formerly the Institute for Higher Education Leadership and Policy), the Institute for Social Research, the Archaeological Research Center, and the Archaeological Curation Facility. The IDS program allows students to develop a unique learning experience that helps meet individual and professional goals. Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) is a rigorous and unique degree program that offers students the versatility to design academic plans through the process of integrative learning. It is not credit for time on the job - it is an accredited system to measure what the student has learned through prior experience and assigning college level credit to that learning. Interdisciplinary Studies share their views, based on their academic work, community engagement, and personal experience on how we as a campus can approach conversations about race.
